Graetz rectifier
Full-wave diode bridge rectifier or Graetz rectifier
It's a circuit used to rectifie bipolar voltage i.e. to transform alternate voltage to direct voltage. AC to DC
Half-wave rectifier
Buffered and un-buffered diode half-wave rectifier
The negative half-wave is set to zero and so the average voltage becames positive. with a buffer (follower Op-Amp) there is no more the 0,7V loss due to diode.
Power factor correction (ORCAD Capture Lite)
